MIS Launches Site for Caracole

Charlotte, NC - MIS is pleased to announce the launch of the website for Caracole.
Caracole is a portfolio for the trusted home furnishings resource, Schnadig International, based in High Point, NC. Caracole is a portfolio of unique items that work in harmony to furnish your entire house. Every piece represents high design and independent thinking, with more than fifty finishes and materials: exotic woods, mixed elements and hand-applied finishes. Each piece stands alone...and speaks for itself.
Caracole selected MIS for the design and development of their social site as well as their online catalog. Caracole wanted to share their beautiful home furnishings with interior designers as well as the public. The site has different security features. Interior designers can take advantage of forums, designer folders, and sharing photos of their work featuring Caracole items. The public can build a wishlist and share items on social media sites. The result is a rich combination of an interactive magazine and a social network for interior designers.
Caracole is powered by MIS's content management system beta product, Meanstream. Meanstream is expected to make a full launch 2011.
